I can't say anything much different from the rest of us dreamer types. I have always tried to do what I love, but my life has taken a drastic shift. For the last few years I ran an antique/clothing store and flea market business. In the last year conflicts with my partner have caused it to end and my expression of self has had to take on a new shape. Change, however, always brings with it new aspirations. I have been drawing since the 3rd grade; it has been by my side ever since I can remember. It has been a inspiring source of self-discovery, therapy, escape, challenge, and discipline. I am self-taught and have always put art aside as something I would do 'when I had spare time'—like putting a toy away when you're done with it. Once again, the circles of my life have brought me back to painting, and at this peak, I will indulge it to the fullest and become exactly what my imagination intends to share and gain acceptance in life as an artist. This is work derived from the deepest gratitude I have found in my heart due to the circumstances of which my roads have taken me. The past, the future, and the spark of imagination that reflects down upon us from the sky, are all the seeing eye of my art and my life.
